Schneier - More on the Triton Malware

FireEye is releasing much more information about the Triton malware that attacks critical infrastructure. It has been discovered in more places.

This is also a good -- but older -- article on Triton. We don't know who wrote it. Initial speculation was Iran; more recent speculation is Russia. Both are still speculations.

The Hacker News - Phishing Campaign Hits 80+ Orgs Using SimpleHelp and ScreenConnect RMM Tools

An active phishing campaign has been observed targeting multiple vectors since at least April 2025, with legitimate Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) software as a way to establish persistent remote access to compromised hosts.
